How much does a website cost in 2026
What the price of a website for your business depends on, what it costs after the first year, and what to ask before you hire someone.
First: do you need one?
Not every business needs a website to start. If people find you by proximity, a well set up Google profile can bring customers before a website does. A website pays off when you want to show everything you do, take bookings or orders, or stop depending on a social network.
If you're not sure where to start, check how people find you today first.
What you're paying for
A website's price is made of several parts. Before comparing quotes, check which ones each includes:
- Domain: your address, like yourbusiness.com.ar. .com.ar domains are registered with NIC Argentina and renewed every year
- Hosting: the server the site lives on. Also a yearly cost
- Design and development: building the site so it looks good on phones and loads fast
- Content: the text and photos. If you provide them, the price goes down
- Basic SEO: so Google understands what you do and where you are
- Maintenance: changes, updates and renewals after it goes live
What the price depends on
What moves the number most is how much the site has to do:
- A single page with the essentials (what you do, where you are, hours and WhatsApp) is the simplest and fastest
- A multi-page site with a gallery, menu or catalog takes more design and more content
- Bookings, orders or automatic replies add features that need setting up and testing
- An online store or a customer area is a custom project
Our prices
To give you a concrete reference, these are our plans. All of them include a domain and hosting for a year, basic SEO and your Google profile:
- Starter: $100, one-time. Your business online, quick and simple.
- Growth: from $250. More pages to show everything you do.
- Automate: from $400. Your site serves customers while you work.
- Custom: depending on what you need. For special needs.
After the first year, you choose: add the care plan, $10 a month with domain and hosting renewal included, or keep the domain and hosting in your own name. Launch prices for our first clients.
What to ask before you hire
A low price can turn out expensive if you can't change anything later or you're locked in. Ask:
- Whose name is the domain in? If not mine, will you transfer it when I ask?
- How much does it cost per year after the first, and what's included?
- Can I move the site to another provider if I want to?
- How many rounds of changes are included before launch?
- How long until it's ready?
- Does it look good on phones and load fast? Ask to see previous work
What about free options?
There are website builders with free plans, and you can always start with social media alone. They work to get going, but they have limits: the domain isn't yours, the design is generic, the platform shows its own ads and, if it changes its rules, you have no say.
A website of your own is a business asset: the address, the content and the customers who arrive from Google are yours.
